Dr. Tim Baillie, Registered Cardiologist

BSc (Biomed), MBBS, FRACP, PhD

Dr. Baillie is a board registered Cardiologist with specific interests in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), echocardiography and pulmonary hypertension. Tim graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science before undertaking graduate-entry medicine at Flinders University, Adelaide. He later studied Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He then undertook a PhD in Medicine in the area of pulmonary arterial hypertension whilst working as a Pulmonary Hypertension Clinical Fellow. He then spent two and half years at Toronto General Hospital and University of Toronto as Clinical and Research Fellow in Pulmonary Hypertension whilst also undertaking a Fellowship in echocardiography. He is currently employed at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Cardiologist (Pulmonary Hypertension) and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at The University of Adelaide.
