Dr. John Morgan, Visiting Medical Officer

Dr John Morgan is a graduate of Monash University and completed his medical and cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital including 18 months of intensive care in addition to 3 years of cardiology training. He completed a 2 year fellowship in echocardiography at RMH and then spent a further 2 years at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA, as an echocardiography fellow specialising in all forms of echocardiography including transthoracic, trans-oesopheageal and stress echocardiography including both research and clinical components.

Dr Morgan is currently a visiting medical officer and part of the Department of Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He also has an appointment at Melbourne Private Hospital and the Epworth Hospital. Dr Morgan has private practice in North Melbourne and visits Mildura and Seymour in regional Victoria monthly.
