Assoc. Prof. Adam J Nelson MBBS MBA MPH PhD

Associate Professor Adam Nelson is an interventional and general cardiologist at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals.

After spending time at the Duke Clinical Research Institute in North Carolina, he was appointed to the University of Adelaide and the Victorian Heart Institute where he leads clinical trials in emerging therapies, particularly among patients with diabetes, obesity and coronary artery disease.

He has academic and clinical interests in personalised cardiovascular risk assessment and prevention.
